Charter Information for Crystal River, Steinhatchee & Homosassa, Florida

 

Common Hooker Adventures will accommodate anglers of all ages. Fishing is our passion and we love to take people fishing. When you book a trip with us you can expect to have a fun filled day of fishing, boat riding, sightseeing with the company of a knowledgeable guide that knows the area and how, when, and, where to show you a good time. Every trip will be customized to accommodate any type of party.

Full day adventures will consist of an 8 hour day so you will have the opportunity to fish the best of the tides for that day. A half day trip will consist of a 4 hour day. The Capt will pick the best time of day to start your adventure so that you will have a better chance to catch the fish you want. All fishing adventures include all bait, tackle, license, and iced coolers.

Scallop tours will start at 9:00 A.M. and will go on for up to six hours or until the boat limit is full. If you get your limit early we can switch gears and go sightseeing upon the customer request. Bring your own snorkel, mask, and fins.

River safaris are pay as you go for up to 4 people. Tell the captain how long you want to stay on the water and he will plan your time to the best of his ability (minimum 2 hours). Try to have a idea what you would like to see so the Capt. can decide where to take you so your time will be well spent.

Corporate Charters

If you have a party of more than 4 we can hook you up please let us know well in advance so we can plan the trip with some of the partner guides. We can set up corporate groups in a tournament type scenario so that there will be so competition or, we can just plan a good old fashion day on the water. Price will be negotiated on how many people want to fish. The more people the less it will be per individual.

Specialty Trips

Night time tarpon trips during the summer can be arranged the trip will last from sun down to mid night the starting price is $300.00 the price will be negotiated as opportunities to land a fish exceed.

What to Bring

First, dress for the season remember its always colder on the water even during the summer months so bring a light jacket, polarized sun glasses, sunscreen, lunch (unless you arrange a shore lunch), drinks (yes, beer and alcohol are okay, but remember that were fishing not partying. THE CAPTAIN HAS THE RIGHT TO CUT YOU OFF!), your favorite fishing pole (it’s not needed but it is welcome), cigars and a cooler to take home your catch.

What Not to Bring

  • No coolers onboard - the boat has plenty of clean cooler space and ice.
  • No GPS - this is for your own good and for the well being of the lower unit of your boat.
  • No pets - if you just can’t live without your pet, there will be a charge of an extra person.
  • No bananas - not even in trail mix or banana bread.
  • No drugs
  • No bad or negative attitudes - remember were trying to have a good time.

Rates

Fishing Guide:

  • Full Day: $350.00
  • Half Day: $300.00
  • Rates include up to 2 Anglers
  • 3rd Angler is an extra $50.00

River Adventures:

  • Hourly: $60.00

Scallop Tours:

  • Scalloping: $200.00
  • Trip duration is six hours or until your limit is reached
  • Only during season
